Terms of Service

Last updated October 8, 2026

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of PlaceCommand (the "Service"), operated by Redfish Labs LLC("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

  • Customer — the company that subscribes to the Service.
  • Organization — the isolated workspace created for a Customer.
  • Authorized User — a person the Customer permits to access its Organization.
  • Customer Data — data submitted to or collected by the Service on the Customer's behalf, including property, guest, vendor, and messaging records.
  • Third-Party Integration — an external service the Customer connects, such as a booking platform or email provider.

2. Accounts and organization administration

The Customer is responsible for its Authorized Users, for the accuracy of account information, and for controlling who may join its Organization through invitations or an approved email domain. The Customer must promptly remove access for people who leave. We may suspend an account that appears compromised.

3. Subscription, fees, and trials

Subscriptions are billed in advance on the interval selected at checkout, based on the number of properties on the subscription and subject to any minimum billable quantity shown at checkout. Authorized Users are not separately charged. Trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled first. Fees are exclusive of taxes. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; cancelling stops future renewals rather than refunding the current period.

4. Acceptable use

The Customer will not use the Service to send unlawful communications, to store data it has no right to process, to attempt to access another Organization's data, to probe or disrupt the Service, or to resell access without a written agreement.

5. Customer Data and privacy

As between the parties, the Customer owns Customer Data. We process it to provide the Service in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement, which are incorporated by reference. The Customer is responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and share the personal information it submits, including guest information.

6. Third-party integrations

Connecting an integration authorizes us to access that service on the Customer's behalf using the credentials provided. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, and their availability is outside our control. Credentials are stored encrypted and may be revoked by the Customer at any time.

7. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, including its software and documentation. The Customer receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during the subscription term. Feedback may be used to improve the Service without obligation.

8. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's non-public information with at least reasonable care and use it only to perform under these terms.

9. Warranties and disclaimers

We will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. Except as expressly stated, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Service supports operational decisions; it does not replace the Customer's judgment or its legal and regulatory obligations.

10. Limitation of liability

Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our aggregate liability arising out of these terms will not exceed the fees paid by the Customer in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

The Customer will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from Customer Data or from use of the Service in breach of these terms. We will defend and indemnify the Customer against third-party claims that the Service infringes intellectual property rights.

12. Term and termination

These terms run for the duration of the subscription. Either party may terminate for material breach that is not cured within thirty days. On termination the Customer may export Customer Data for thirty days, after which it may be deleted.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated to account administrators before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Idaho.

15. Text message alerts

PlaceCommand offers an optional text program called PlaceCommand Alerts. Redfish Labs LLC operates the program.

Only staff users of a PlaceCommand customer who opt in and verify their own mobile number receive these texts. Guests never receive these texts.

The texts are alerts when a guest message needs a reply. A text includes the guest's message and a suggested reply. The user replies Y to approve, N to skip, or types their own text.

Consent is not a condition of using PlaceCommand.

Message frequency varies by activity.

Message and data rates may apply.

Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply START to opt back in.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
